The Center for Fetal Monkey Gene Transfer for Heart, Lung, and Blood Diseases was established at the California National Primate Research Center at the University of California, Davis, in 2001.
In addition to extensive outreach, the Fetal Gene Therapy Center provides training to investigators and their staff, and develops new techniques and methodologies each year that are shared with the greater research community. The Fetal Gene Therapy Center has provided funding for, and conducted studies in collaboration with, numerous investigators across the nation using both viral and nonviral vectors. |
